Multiple stakes winner Going Wild came through with his first winner when his 2-year-old daughter Ballerinagonewild won at Lone Star Park July 6. The filly captured the five-furlong race by a head in :58.19 for Emilio Barrera (VIDEO).
Bred in Oklahoma by James E. Helzer, Ballerinagonewild is a half sister to stakes-placed Favorite Dancer and is the fifth winner from five named foals out of the winning Hadif mare Hadif’s Ballerina.
Going Wild (Golden Missile —Pola, by Strawberry Road) stands at Helzer’s JEH Stallion Station-New Mexico Division near Hondo, N.M. His 2012 fee was $1,000.
