Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 260 horses for its New York-bred yearling sale. The number is up 20.4% from last year's total of 216.
The auction, which features horses that were selected by Fasig-Tipton officials based on conformation and pedigree, will be held Aug. 11-12 in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Each session will begin at 6:30 p.m. (EDT).
"We were pleased and grateful that our client base for this sale has committed quality and quantity to the New York-bred sale," said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning. "These yearlings were selected from a small crop in New York, but the diversity of consignors and sires is there for all to see.
"With the health of this particular state program on a very sound course," Browning continued, "the New York-Bred is going to be a valuable racing and sales commodity for many years to come."
The catalog can be viewed on Fasig-Tipton’s Website: www.fasigtipton.com. Print versions are available at all Fasig-Tipton offices.
