Offered by Jeremy Noseda's Shalfleet Stables, she was purchased by Ashtown House Stud's Paul Shanahan, a member of the Coolmore Stud team. Irish bloodstock agent Johm McCormack signed the ticket. The price was the second-highest ever for a European 2-year-old filly in training, behind only the 620,000 guineas paid for Scimitarra during the 1986 edition of the Tattersalls sale. Narvick International's Emmanuel de Seroux and 6C Racing's Andrea Putsch also made bids on Leggy Lou.A daughter of Mujadil, Leggy Lou will remain in training.The first session's highest-priced broodmare was Lyrical Dance, who was sold to Barouche Stud for 360,000 guineas. The daughter of Lear Fan is a half-sister to group I winners Nasr El Arab, Pennekamp, and Black Minnaloushe. The immediate underbidder was Charlie Gordon-Watson, who was representing Tom Wilson.
