Grade II winner J Be K will relocate to Haras Santa Ana in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The 7-year-old son of Silver Deputy out of the stakes-placed Valid Wager mare Major Wager formerly stood at Richard Hessee’s Trophy Club Training Center near Royal, Ark.
J Be K won at first asking, posting a Saratoga track record of 1:03.13 for 5 1/2 furlongs. At 3 he won the Woody Stephens Stakes (gr. II), the Bay Shore Stakes (gr. III), and the Jersey Shore Stakes (gr. III). Trained by Steve Asmussen, he won five of nine lifetime starts and earned $440,200.
The deal was brokered by Patrick Morell in conjunction with Jose Laudo DeCamargo of Santa Escolastica.
