First Winner for Sire Gottcha Gold at Calder

Graded stakes winner Gottcha Gold   came through with his first winner when his son My Daddy's Dollars won a maiden special weight race at Calder Casino and Race Course June 16 in his initial outing. The colt scored by a head and while running the five furlongs in 1:00.32 as a homebred for Laurie Plesa (VIDEO).

A Florida-bred, My Daddy’s Dollars is the first foal out of the winning Forest Camp mare Forest Retreat, whose dam is stakes-placed Anna Villa.

Gottcha Gold (Coronado's Quest--Gottcha Last, by Pleasant Tap) won three graded stakes including the Philip H. Iselin Breeders’ Cup Handicap (gr. III). He stands for $2,500 at Mike O’Farrell’s Ocala Stud Farm near Ocala, Fla,
