The Stronach Group Promotes Rogers, Ritvo

Track owner The Stronach Group has named Mike Rogers president and Tim Ritvo chief operating officer of its racing division, the company announced June 7.

The moves are effective immediately, the company said in a press release.

Rogers has more than 28 years of experience in the horse racing industry. Prior to his newest assignment, he was vice president of The Stronach Group racing division,

Ritvo has been president and general manager of Gulfstream Park since July 2011. He was a prominent jockey and racing official at Suffolk Downs in the 1980s before becoming a trainer in Florida during the 1990s. He previously served as the vice president and director of the Florida Horsemen's Benevolent & Protective Association.
