Graded stakes winners Mystery Storm, El Amante, and Cat's Career will stand next breeding season at Weston-Ward Thoroughbreds at Straus Medina Ranch near San Antonio, Texas. The operation is run by Dr. Jim Ward and Charles Weston.
Nine-year-old Mystery Storm (Storm Bird--Affirmed Classic, by Affirmed) has sired four stakes winners and will stand for $5,000 live foal. Eight-year-old El Amante (Wild Again--Forli's Angel, by Broadway Forli) will stand for $2,500 live foal. Both formerly stood at Spendthrift Farm near Lexington. Eight-year-old Cat's Career (Mr. Prospector--Comical Cat, by Exceller) will stand for $3,500 live foal. He last stood at Airdrie Stud near Midway, Ky.
