Champion Boston Harbor's date for departure from William T. Young's Overbrook Farm near Lexington for Japan is getting closer. "He is scheduled to leave the farm next week pending test results," said farm official Ric Waldman.
Overbrook earlier had entered an agreement with the Japan Bloodhorse Breeders Association for the sale of the first-crop stallion. Since then, 7-year-old Boston Harbor (Capote--Harbor Springs, by Vice Regent) has been represented by his first stakes winner in Boston Twist. Boston Harbor ranks 16th on the freshman sires list.
