"Team Zenyatta" reported via Twitter May 8 that the 2010 Horse of the Year is in foal to the Gainesway Farm stallion Tapit .
Owners Jerry and Ann Moss said an ultrasound the morning of May 8 confirmed the mare in foal. Zenyatta, a winner of 19 of 20 races, is boarded at William S. Farish’s Lane’s End Farm near Versailles, Ky.
Zenyatta, by Street Cry (IRE) out of the Kris S. mare Vertigineux, produced her first foal, a colt by Bernardini , on March 8.
