The Maryland Jockey Club is expecting a full field for the May 19 Preakness Stakes (gr. I) at Pimlico Race Course, officials said.

The following horses that competed in the May 5 Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) are on the MJC list of probable starters: Winner I'll Have Another  , second-place finisher Bodemeister  , Went The Day Well (fourth), Creative Cause   (fifth), Liaison (sixth), Union Rags   (seventh), Hansen   (ninth), and Optimizer (11th).

Non-Derby starters consider probable for the Preakness, second leg of the Triple Crown, are Pretension and Brimstone Island, the one-two finishers in the May 5 Canonero II Stakes at Pimlico; Cozzetti, fourth in the April 13 Arkansas Derby (gr. I); Hierro and Paynter, one-two in the April 28 Derby Trial Stakes (gr. III); The Lumber Guy, winner of the April 21 Jerome Stakes (gr. II); and Tiger Walk, fourth in the April 7 Resorts New York Casino Wood Memorial Stakes (gr. I).

The field for the Preakness will be drawn May 16.
