Left Bank captured his first grade I in the Vosburgh.
Michael Tabor's Left Bank is the 5-2 favorite in the nine-horse field that will contest Saturday's Cigar Mile (gr. I), the last grade I race of the year in New York.

The 4-year-old son of French Deputy finished second in the Forego at Saratoga before getting his first grade I victory in the Vosburgh, defeating eventual Breeders' Cup Sprint champ Squirtle Squirt. Following that effort, Left Bank returned to finish a close fifth in the Breeders' Cup Sprint.

"He's better at a mile than he is at six furlongs," said trainer Todd Pletcher, who is also represented by Graeme Hall in the Cigar Mile. "His biggest race was in the Vosburgh and that was seven furlongs."
