Three Chimneys Open House Thursday

Three Chimneys Farm will hold its annual Derby week open house Thursday, May 3, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the farm’s stallion complex, which is located off Big Sink Pike near Versailles, Ky.

The connections of Santa Anita Derby (gr. I) winner and Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) contender I'll Have Another   will be present, including trainer Doug O’Neill, owners Mr. and Mrs. J. Paul Reddam, jockey Mario Gutierrez, and racing manager Dennis O’Neill. They will meet fans and sign autographs from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

I’ll Have Another’s sire, Flower Alley, and the other three Chimneys stallions also will be on display.
Three Chimneys will give away posters featuring I’ll Have Another and multiple grade I winner-turned stable pony Lava Man to the first 500 people in attendance (limit one per person).

Those who wish to join the staff of Three Chimneys in remembering Dynaformer, who died April 29,  are invited to congregate in the Three Chimneys stallion cemetery at 12:30 p.m. for a brief memorial.

On Derby Day, Three Chimneys is hosting a social media live chat from approximately 4 to 7 p.m. Fans are invited to connect with Three Chimneys on Facebook (www.facebook.com/ThreeChimneys) and Twitter (@Three_chimneys) to ask questions and talk about the horses, people, and stories surrounding the Run for the Roses, as well as the undercard races.
