Trainer Stein Back On Air

California trainer Roger Stein, whose long-running Thoroughbred racing radio show was removed from the air six weeks ago, will resurface Sat., Nov. 24, on KPLS, 830 on the AM dial, at 8 a.m. Pacific Time. The station broadcasts from Orange, Ca., just outside Anaheim and roughly equidistant from the Los Angeles-area racetracks and Del Mar. Beginning the following weekend, the Roger Stein Show, which covers news, views, and interviews in the world of horseracing, will be heard both Saturdays and Sundays in the 8 a.m. timeslot.
