I’ll Have Another was the first off the van at a little past 12:30 p.m. and looked fantastic. His coat had a shine to it, despite the long journey, and he was carrying good flesh. Trainer Doug O’Neill, who has his own barn at Churchill Downs, led the son of Flower Alley off the van and walked him around the shed several times. The colt was feeling good and bucked on several occasions.
“He’s really bouncing around there, and his energy level is very high,” O’Neill said. “He looks great.”
The van then moved several hundred yards to the loading ramp next to Barn 42 and let off Creative Cause and Rousing Sermon. The former took up residence two stalls down from Trinniberg. The son of
Trainer Mike Harrington was due to arrive tonight. Both colts are expected to go to the track Sunday, April 29. I’ll Have Another had his final work at Betfair
