The Bill Mott trainee Idle Rich will attempt to repeat her victory in last year's Glens Falls Handicap (gr. IIIT) when she is faced by eight rivals in the 2000 renewal of the 1 3/8-mile turf race at Saratoga on Friday. The 5-year-old mare, owned by Stonerside Stable, will break from post position seven under jockey Jerry Bailey.

Meanwhile, trainer Michael Dickinson sends out 1/3 of the nine older fillies and mares entered, including 5-2 morning-line favorite Melody Queen. The other Dickinson trainees are Amalia, making her first North American start, and Neil Jones' Sister Bella.

The field for the Glens Falls -- with jockeys, weights, and morning-line odds -- will consist of:
1--I'm Indy Mood, Heberto Castillo Jr., 113, 12-1
2--Orange Sunset, Jose Santos, 114, 7-2
3--Amalia, Shane Sellers, 114, 8-1
4--Cybil, Rosemary Homeister Jr., 114, 15-1
5--Gimmeakissee, Shaun Bridgmohan, 113, 20-1
6--Sister Bella, Mike Smith, 114, 5-1
7--Idle Rich, Jerry Bailey, 114, 3-1
8--Melody Queen, Pat Day, 114, 5-2
9--Free Vacation, Jean-Luc Samyn, 113, 10-1
