Betfair Hollywood Park will pay tribute to Marje Everett, former track chairman, president, and chief operating officer, on May 19.

To honor the memory of Everett, who died March 23 at 90, the track will rename the Milady Handicap (gr. II) the Marjorie L. Everett Handicap.

A gathering will be held in the Gold Cup Room immediately after the race, which will be the last on the May 19 program.

Those wishing to share their memories of Everett, who was part of track management from 1972-1991, will be able to do so.

For fillies and mares at 1 1/16 miles over Cushion Track, the Milady has been won twice in the past by such stars as A Gleam, Adored, Azeri, Bayakoa, Paseana, and Zenyatta.

The May 19 program will also include the simulcast of the Preakness Stakes (gr. I) from Pimlico.
