Hallowed Dreams will attempt to set the modern-day Thoroughbred record of 17 consecutive wins Saturday when she races against four rivals in the $35,000 Millennium Stakes at Evangeline Downs. Johnny Gaspard and Lloyd Romero's 3-year-old Louisiana-bred filly will be facing three older horses as the 119-pound highweight in the six-furlong race. Hallowed Dreams has won all of her 16 career starts and is tied with Citation and Cigar for most consecutive wins. All five fillies and mares entered were bred in Louisiana. The field for the Millennium Stakes, the seventh race at Evangeline Downs on Saturday, will be:
--Ides Beware, James Avant, 114
--Sparkles of Luck, Gerard Melancon, 117
--Colormegreen, Josh Romero, 114
--Justins Love, Steven Joseph Borque, 112
--Hallowed Dreams, Sylvester Carmouche, 119
