Keyed Entry, Wildcat Heir 2YOs Work Fast

A Keyed Entry – Dixie Image filly and a Wildcat Heir   – Golden Horseshoe colt named Spare No Expense were among the standouts April 18 during the second session of the under tack show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. spring sale of 2-year-olds in training. They were the fastest workers at a quarter mile, each covering the distance in :20 4/5 over the OBS track’s Safetrack surface in Central Florida.

H.J. Parra Racing Stables is the consignor of the Keyed Entry filly, cataloged as Hip No. 363. Journeyman Bloodstock, agent, is the consignor of Spare No Expense, cataloged as Hip No. 488.

Six juveniles were the quickest at an eighth of a mile, each finishing in :10. They included a Tiznow  —Gdanska filly (Hip No. 469), consigned by Ricky Leppala, agent; a Candy Ride   – Harlow Gold filly named Foundthecandy (Hip No. 518), consigned by Old South Farm, agent; and a Cowtown Cat – Her She Shawklit colt named Shawtown (Hip No. 529), consigned by Costanzo Sales. The others were a Sky Mesa   – Ing Ing colt (Hip No. 566), consigned by Wavertree Stables, agent; a Candy Ride   – Into Reality filly (Hip No. 567), consigned by McKathan Bros., agent; and an Indian Ocean   – Jeet filly named Indian Splendor (Hip No. 584), consigned by Ravensway, agent.

A Wild Desert – Golden Park colt and an Ecclesiastic – Gratorious filly named La Thali were the fastest at three furlongs, each turning in a time of :33 3/5. Blue River Bloodstock, agent, is the consignor of the Wild Desert colt, cataloged as Hip No. 489. Tres Potrillos is the consignor of La Thali, cataloged as Hip No. 502.

The under tack show will continue through April 20, with each session beginning at 8 a.m. EDT. The sale is scheduled for April 23-26, with each session starting at 10:30 a.m.
