Hallowed Dreams Back in Winner's Circle

Hallowed Dreams returned from a brief freshening following her second career defeat in August, winning an Delta Downs allowance race by a length Saturday night. Under Sylvester Carmouche, Hallowed Dreams completed the five-furlong race in :59.
Hallowed Dreams led all the way as the low-weighted horse of the nine runners. 4-year-old colt Dr. Lewis finished second, 7 ½ lengths clear of third-place Bold Cause.
Sent off at 1-5, Hallowed Dreams returned $2.40, $2.80, and $2.10 and led a $5.20 exacta.
The Lloyd Romero-trained 4-year-old filly improved her career mark to 24 wins from 26 lifetime starts while earning owners Romero and Johnny Gaspard $10,200. Mike Kennington bred hallowed Dreams (Malagra--Pacific's Dream, by Brother Machree) in Louisiana. (Chart,
