Blind Luck, the 2010 champion 3-year-old filly, has been pronounced in foal to major sire Bernardini off a Feb. 10 cover.
Blind Luck (Pollard's Vision —Lucky One, by Best of Luck) won 10 stakes, including the Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) and the Betfair TVG Alabama Stakes (gr. I) the year of her championship.
The Bernardini--Blind Luck offspring will be bred similarly to Frizette Stakes (gr. I) winner A Z Warrior and grade II winner Wilburn . Both are by by Bernardini out of mares by Carson City, who is Pollard’s Vision’s sire.
Blind Luck, who is boarded at John Sikura’s Hill ‘n’ Dale Farms near Lexington, is owned by Dr. Mark Dedomenico.
Bernardini stands at Sheikh Mohammed’s Darley near Lexington. His fee is $150,000.
