Three-year-old Unbridled Minister has been retired from racing and will enter stud in 2012 at Dan Fuchs’ White Hat Ranch near Billings, Mont. Joining him is another recent retiree, 6-year-old Lejadami. Each will stand for $1,000.
Unbridled Minister, who was sold for $150,000 at the 2011 Keeneland April 2-year-olds in training sale, finished first and second this year at Gulfstream Park in his only two starts. He is by Unbridled's Song out of the stakes-winning Deputy Minister mare Arabis and is a full brother to stakes-placed Paseo Alegro. His third dam is Kentucky Broodmare of the Year Courtly Dee. Unbridled Minister is owned by Magic City Thoroughbred Partners, of which Fuchs is managing partner.
Lejadami, a $130,000 Keeneland September sale yearling, won at Keeneland and Churchill Downs. He was retired with a record of 2-3-0 from 10 starts and earnings of $77,312.
