The Horse Racing Radio Network has scheduled four live broadcasts this week, highlighted by the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (gr. I) at Keeneland and the Arkansas Derby (gr. I) at Oaklawn Park.

The broadcasts begin Thursday, April 12, when HRRN will provide exclusive on-site coverage of the Vinery Madison (gr. I) at Keeneland from 4:30-5 p.m. ET. On Friday, April 13, HRRN will air the Makers 46 Mile (gr. IT), beginning at 5 p.m. ET

HRRN’s April 14 coverage kicks off with a special Blue Grass Stakes edition of the “Equine Forum” show hosted live from Keeneland. The “Equine Forum” airs weekly from 8-10 a.m. ET on 96.1 FM in Lexington, KY and streamed live on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net. 

HRRN then returns later April 14 with a two-hour broadcast of the Blue Grass Stakes and Arkansas Derby (gr. I) from 5-7 p.m. ET. In addition to the major Derby preps, coverage will include the Commonwealth Stakes (gr. II) and Jenny Wiley (gr. IT).

Live race coverage continues later that night with an exclusive two-hour broadcast of the Charles Town Classic (gr. II) from 9-11 p.m. ET. 

The Blue Grass Stakes and Charles Town Classic broadcasts can be heard nationwide on Sirius channel 93 as well as on select HRRN affiliates. All HRRN broadcasts will also be streamed live on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net. Mike Penna will anchor the HRRN coverage along with analyst Jude Feld.
