Game On Dude worked four furlongs in :48 2/5 at Meydan March 26 in preparation for a start in the $10 million Dubai World Cup (UAE-I) March 31 at the Dubai racecourse.

Owned by Diamond Pride, Lanni Family Trust, Mercedes Stable, and Bernard Schiappa, the 5-year-old Awesome Again   horse was ridden by exercise rider George Alvarez, World Cup officials reported. He was one of two Bob Baffert-trained horses to work on the Tapeta surface March 26.

The Factor  , owned by Fog City Stable and George Bolton, worked three furlongs in :36 4/5. The 4-year-old War Front   colt is being pointed to the Golden Shaheen Stakes (UAE-I) on the World Cup program.

“Both of them are ready,” said Tim Yakteen, a former Baffert assistant who oversaw the works. “Bob wanted them to get a feel and stretch their legs a bit. All thumbs up.”

Meanwhile, Besilu Stables’ Royal Delta, champion 3-year-old filly of 2011, galloped about a mile and a quarter March 26. The Empire Maker filly is being prepped for the World Cup by trainer Bill Mott.

Leana Willaford, an assistant to Mott, was in the saddle. “She was very happy,” Willaford told World Cup officials. “She gets over this track very well; she just cruises over it.”
