Simulcast Conference Scheduled for Oct. 1-3

The Thoroughbred Racing Associations will hold its 20th International Simulcast Conference in Clearwater Beach, Fla., Oct. 1-3.

The 2012 conference will be held at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort, the organization announced March 15.

The TRA co-sponsors the event with Harness Tracks of America , in conjunction with the American Greyhound Track Operators Association. Each year the conference attracts about 250 racing executives and personnel to address the topics of chief importance to the pari-mutuel industry, including simulcasting, account wagering, wagering security, and technology.
