His gray colt out of the Flying Continental mare Lots of Sunshine arrived at 5:25 a.m. and weighed in at a healthy 133 pounds. Owned by Harris Farms, Lots of Sunshine is a half-sister to four stakes horses, including graded stakes performers Zippersup ($335,500, gr. II) and Red Sun ($146,900, gr. II).
Thorn Song won both the Shoemaker Mile (gr. IT) and Keeneland’s Shadwell Turf Mile (gr. IT) during a career in which he earned $1,132,700,
