Pierre Esquirol has acquired graded stakes winner and successful sire Whiskey Wisdom to stand at his Esquirol Farms near Ryley, Alberta, Canada. The 19-year-old stallion will stand for a private fee. Whiskey Wisdom formerly stood at Thunderbird Horse Centre in Manitoba.
Whiskey Wisdom has sired 34 stakes winners including 17 stakes winners and the earners nearly $17 million. His richest runner, Fifty Proof, who has earnings of $695,848, was a Canadian graded stakes winner in 2011 and twice graded stakes-placed last year. Whiskey Wisdom’s other leading stakes winners include Dave the Knave, Drunken Love, and Moonshine Justice.
Whiskey Wisdom (Wild Again—Primarily, by Lord At War) is a half brother to grade I winner Citronnade and Canadian champions Poetically and Primaly.
