New Lane's End Stallions Get Mares in Foal

Grade I winners Courageous Cat   and Twirling Candy  , who are standing their first year at stud at William S. Farish’s Lane’s End Farm near Versailles, Ky., have gotten their first mares in foals.

The mares in foal to Courageous Cat are Awesome Dreamer (West Acre--Beauchamp Point, by Glitterman) and Miss Cortina (Roar--Lady Turk, by Turkoman).

The mares in foal to Twirling Candy are Boozin’ Susan (French Deputy--Kate Elder, by Fappiano), Blue Angel (Oratorio--Blue Cloud, by Nashwan), Banner Day (A.P. Indy--Gold Streamer, by Forty Niner), and Miss Silver Brook (Cozzene—Brookdale, by Turkoman).

Courageous Cat (Storm Cat—Tranquility Lake, by Rahy) stands for $10,000, and Twirling Candy (Candy Ride  —House of Danzing, by Chester House) holds court for $15,000.
