Eclipse Award champion and recent Gotham (gr. III) winner Hansen will school in the paddock at Turfway Park March 9 between the sixth and seventh races, according to the colt’s breeder and majority owner, Dr. Kendall Hansen.
Hansen is expected to be in the paddock around 8 p.m. EST.
He also is expected to stretch his legs on the track during training hours March 9, at about 6 a.m. EST, said trainer Mike Maker.
Hansen will remain at Turfway through March 9 before heading to Louisville to continue his training, said Maker. He returned to Kentucky from New York on March 5 after winning the Gotham by three lengths at Aqueduct. He is currently being pointed to Resorts World Casino New York City Wood Memorial (gr. I) April 7.
