New WinStar Stallions Get First Mares in Foal

Breeders’ Cup Classic (gr. I) winner Drosselmeyer  , who stands at Kenny Troutt’s WinStar Farm near Versailles, Ky., and fellow WinStar stallion Sidney's Candy   have had their first mares pronounced in foal.

Blue Orleans (Bluegrass Cat  —Sheila Purple, by Purple Mountain) and Brilliant Disguise (A.P. Indy—Jersey Girl, by Belong to Me) are in foal to Drosselmeyer.

Stakes winners Lawanda (Pioneering—Come On Joy, by Cormorant) and Dance Hall Days (Seeking Daylight—Dance Move, by Capote) are in foal to Sidney’s Candy.

Drosselmeyer (Distorted Humor  Golden Ballet, by Moscow Ballet) stands for $17,500. Sidney’s Candy (Candy Ride  —Fair Exchange, by Storm Cat) holds court for $15,000.
