Flying First Class to Still Creek in Indiana

Stakes winner Flying First Class, whose dam is a half sister to 2011 champion Acclamation, will stand this year at Tom and Lesalene Pompell’s Still Creek Farm near Brookville, Ind. Eight-year-old Flying First Class, who was acquired by Ed Berecky, will stand for $1,500 live foal.

Flying First Class (Perfect Mandate—Flying in Style, by Flying Sensation) won by eight lengths at Oaklawn Park in his 3-year-old debut in 2007. Two months later he captured the Derby Trial Stakes at Churchill Downs by 3 3/4 lengths.

Flying First Class contested the Preakness Stakes (gr. I), racing in second place early on before fading to ninth.

Flying First Class was retired with a record of 2-1-0 from six starts. He earned $111,096.

Acclamation, by Unusual Heat, earned an Eclipse Award as champion older male.
