Stud Fee Set For Coolmore's Galileo

Dual classic winner Galileo will begin his stallion career next year for IREĀ£50,000 (about US$56,878) at Coolmore Stud in Ireland. Campaigned by Michael Tabor and Sue Magnier, Galileo scored group I wins in this year's Epsom and Irish Derbys and the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes.
Galileo ran unplaced in the Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) in his final start and retires with six wins from eight starts and earnings of $2,245,373. A son of Coolmore sensation Sadler's Wells, he was produced from Prix de l'Arc de Triomple (Fr-I) winner Urban Sea (by Miswaki).
