Half Sister to Havre de Grace Born

A half sister to 2011 Horse of the Year Havre de Grace was born Feb. 15 at Mill Ridge Farm near Lexington. Bred by Nancy S. Dillman, the dark bay/brown newborn filly by Tiznow   is the seventh foal from the Carson City mare Easter Bunnette.

Havre de Grace, by 2005 Horse of the Year Saint Liam, also was champion older female last year. Campaigned by Richard Porter’s Fox Hill Farms, Havre de Grace won five of her seven races her championship season including the Woodwood Stakes (gr. I) over males.

Easter Bunnette is booked to Medaglia d'Oro  , whose daughter Rachel Alexandra was 2009 Horse of the Year. Easter Bunnette’s next youngest foal is a 2-year-old Bernardini   colt named Brabbham.
