Multiple graded stakes winner Kiss the Kid   sired his first reported foals recently in Florida when a filly and colt were both born within a few days of one another at Hardacre Farm near Ocala.

The first to give birth Jan. 26 was a bay filly out of the Came Home mare Came Through, a half sister to grade I-placed Noble Causeway  . On Jan. 29, a bay colt out of the Hennessy mare Firefly Fancy, a half sister to multiple graded stakes winner Fire Slam, was born. Both were bred by Hardacre Farm.

Kiss the Kid (Lemon Drop Kid  —Black Tie Kiss, by Danzig) stands at Brent and Crystal Fernung’s Journeyman Stud near Ocala. His 2012 fee is $3,500 stands and nurses.
