Eaton's Gift, a multiple grade II winner, has been purchased for stallion duty to stand in 2012 at Joe and Sharon Kerby’s Key Ranch near Salado, Texas. His fee is $2,000. The deal was brokered by Dr. Staci A. Speidel.

A 7-year-old son of Johannesburg, Eaton’s Gift proved best sprinting. He won the Smile Sprint Handicap (gr. II) over Benny the Bull and the Matt Winn Stakes, both at six furlongs, and the Swale Stakes (gr. II) at 6 1/2 furlongs. He was retired with a record of 5-0-2 from 17 starts and earnings of $476,455.

Eaton’s Gift is bred similarly to prominent young sire Scat Daddy  . Scat Daddy, who is by Johannesburg, is out of a Mr. Prospector mare. Eaton’s Gift’s dam, Kit’s Girl, is by Mr. Prospector’s son, Carson City.

Eaton’s Gift stood in 2011 at Don and Dana Myers’ Swifty Farms in Indiana.
