Hold Me Back Sires First Foal

Multiple graded stakes winner Hold Me Back   sired his first reported foal Jan. 23 when a chestnut filly was born at Kenny Troutt’s WinStar Farm near Versailles, Ky.

The filly, bred by WinStar, is out of the A.P. Indy mare All Sevens, whose dam is a stakes-winning full sister to Canadian Triple Crown winner Wando.

Hold Me Back (Giant's Causeway  —Restraint, by Unbridled's Song  ) scored his biggest win in the 2009 Lane’s End Stakes (gr. II). He ran second in that year’s Shadwell Travers Stakes (gr. I) and the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (gr. I). He stands at WinStar, where his 2012 fee is $6,000 stands and nurses.
