Quality Road's First Foal Arrives at WinStar

Four-time grade I winner Quality Road had his first reported foal arrive Jan. 17. The colt, out of stakes winner Dorm Fever, was foaled at WinStar Farm.
Dorm Fever won the listed Heed Stakes and had earnings of $173,972.
Quality Road stands at Mr. and Mrs. William S. Farish’s Lane’s End Farm near Versailles, Ky. He won the Donn Handicap, Woodward Stakes, Metropolitan Handicap, and the Florida Derby (all gr. I). The son of
Elusive Quality also won three other graded stakes and set three track records in his 13-start career. The Eclipse Award finalist for older male in 2010 totaled lifetime earnings of more than $2.2 million.
Quality Road was bred to 149 mares last year with 141 reported in foal.
