Godolphin's Fantastic Light, who won the Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. IT) and is awaiting the Japan Cup (Jpn-I), will command a stud fee of £30,000 at Dalham Hall Stud in England in 2002. The 5-year-old horse (Rahy--Jood, by Nijinsky II) has earned $7.4 million.

First-crop stallion Pulpit, who ranks seventh on the freshman sire list by progeny earnings, had his fee boosted to $60,000 for the 2002 breeding season from $40,000 from the previous one. Seven-year-old Pulpit (A.P. Indy--Preach, by Mr. Prospector) is the sire of grade II winner Essence of Dubai. He stands at the Hancock family's Claiborne Farm near Paris, Ky.
