The Indiana Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association will hold its annual stallion season auction and awards banquet Saturday, Jan. 21. The stallion season auction will start at 2:30 p.m. at the Indianapolis Airport Crown Plaza Hotel. This year’s stallion auction will feature stallions that stand in Indiana as well as Kentucky-based stallions from Adena Springs, Hill ‘n’ Dale Farms, Darby Dan Farm, Lane’s End, Margaux Farm, and Spendthrift Farm. Phone bidding will be Jan. 18 and 19 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 1-800-450-9895. 

Representatives from ITOBA will call the top two bidders when the stallion seasons are sold live, and they will join in the bid. Starting bid will be the highest phone bid. After the stallion season auction, ITOBA will host an awards banquet and party starting at 6 p.m. The winners will be annoucned at the banquet.
