F-T Kentucky Winter Mixed Sale Has 425 Lots

Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 425 lots for its Kentucky winter mixed sale Feb. 6 The auction will be held at the company’s Newtown Paddocks complex in Lexington and will begin at 10 a.m. (EST).

Horses entered in the sale include several racing and broodmare prospects with black-type credentials. Also in the auction are mares in foal to such sires as Bellamy Road  , Congrats  , Curlin  , Discreet Cat  , Giant’s Causeway, Harlan's Holiday  , Indian Charlie  , Lookin At Lucky  , Quality Road  , Scat Daddy  , Tapit  , and War Front  .

Approximately 90 yearlings, horses of racing age, and a lifetime breeding right to Congrats are scheduled to be offered.

“We are extremely pleased with the size and quality of this year’s catalog,” said Fasig-Tipton President Boyd Browning. “There are several attractive racing and broodmare prospects and a number of mares in foal to prominent stallions. The short yearlings should prove very popular.  Additionally, the sale’s placement on the calendar works very well for those looking to buy a mare prior to breeding season.”

Catalogs will be available from all Fasig-Tipton offices by Jan. 20. The catalog’s contents also will be available to view on Fasig-Tipton’s website (www.fasigtipton.com) by Jan. 16. In addition, the catalog will be available via the Equineline sales catalog app.
