Tom Quigley, publisher of The HorsePlayer magazine, has been appointed to the newly created position of VIP Player Concierge, effective immediately, Santa Anita Park announced Jan. 12.

According to the announcement, Quigley’s main responsibility will be to serve as a liaison between Santa Anita and out-of-state players who wish to visit the Southern California track and be provided with personal VIP personal concierge services and benefits based solely on their level of daily play.

“This is another step in an ongoing process to improve overall customer service at Santa Anita,” said Santa Anita vice president of sales and marketing Chris Quinn. “Simulcast players are some of our most important customers and we want to do everything we can to make sure their experience with Santa Anita is a positive one.”

“The historical and picturesque setting of Santa Anita will be seen extensively in the upcoming HBO series Luck, and my personal goal will be to ensure that I provide our out-of-state players with an equally memorable experience while visiting Santa Anita,” said Quigley.
