Grade I stakes-placed Western Expression will stand in 2012 at Bill Kirton’s Kirton Farms near Turpin, Okla. The 16-year-old son of Gone West is priced at $1,500.
Western Expression, who finished second in the 2000 Carter Handicap (gr. I) in New York, has sired 16 stakes horses and the earners of more than $10.3 million. His runners include multiple graded stakes winner I Lost My Choo. In 2011 Western Expression ranked seventh on the Oklahoma sires’ list.
Western Expression, who is a half brother to grade II winner King Cugat, is out of the Majestic Light mare Tricky Game, who is a half sister to prominent sire Seeking the Gold.
