Kirkpatrick Celebration Dec. 3 at Keeneland

A 'Celebration of the Life of Arnold Kirkpatrick' will be held Dec. 3 in the second floor clubhouse of Keeneland from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

The event is open to the public and sharing stories about the colorful Kirkpatrick are encouraged.

Kirkpatrick, who died Nov. 29 at 70, held many positions in the industry including editor of The Thoroughbred Record, executive vice president of Spendthrift Farm, and head of Kirkpatrick & Co., a real estate firm. He was also the author of "Investing in Thoroughbreds: Strategies for Success."
