Smoke Glacken to Stand for $15,000

Graham J. Beck's Gainsway Farm announced a 2002 fee of $15,000 for syndicate stallion Smoke Glacken, up $5,000 from his 2001 fee. Third on the first-crop sire list by progeny earnings, 7-year-old Smoke Glacken has sired three stakes winners, including Smok'n Frolic, who won the Oct. 28 Tempted Stakes (gr. III) at Belmont Park. Champion sprinter in 1997, Smoke Glacken (Two Punch--Majesty's Crown, by Magesterial) is the sire of 14 winners and is represented by the earners of $771,769.
