Shaniko, Three Others to Saudi Arabia

Chad Schumer’s Schumer Bloodstock has purchased four North American stallions/stallion prospects for export to Saudi Arabia.

Shaniko (2001, A.P. Indy—Sapphire n’ Silk, by Pleasant Tap) won the Kentucky Cup Classic Stakes (gr. II) at Turfway Park en route to earnings of $388,380. He started his stallion career at Millennium Farm in Kentucky and spent the past season at Moon Lake Farm in Louisiana.

Sabre d'Argent (2000, Kris S.—Sterling Pound, by Seeking the Gold) won the Petros Rose of Lancaster Stakes (Eng-III) and placed in the Fort Marcy Handicap (gr. IIIT). He is a half brother to successful sire Exchange Rate  . Sabre d’Argent most recently stood at Bridlewood Farm in Florida.

Tranquil Manner (2006, A.P. Indy—Composure, by Touch Gold  ) placed in the Woodward Stakes (gr. I) to Quality Road   and earned a lifetime total of $239,610. His dam is a grade I winner.

Dance to Destiny (1999, Mr. Prospector—Dance Smartly, by Danzig) placed in the Dominion Day Handicap (Can-III) and earned a career total of $170,854. His dam is a half sister to leading sire Smart Strike  . He formerly stood at Sam-Son Farm in Canada.
