Canadian Frontier to LeMesa in Louisiana

Canadian Frontier  , sire of New York grade I winners Hilda's Passion and No Such Word, will stand in 2012 for $3,500 at Brett Brinkman’s LeMesa Stallions near Carencro, La. He formerly stood at Brereton C. Jones’ Airdrie Stud near Midway, Ky.

Hilda’s Passion has won four graded stakes this year including the Ballerina Stakes (gr. I) at Saratoga. No Such Word’s grade I score came in last year’s Gazelle Stakes at Aqueduct.

A New York graded stakes winner, 12-year-old Canadian Frontier (Gone West—Borodislew, by Seattle Slew) has sired seven stakes winners including Puerto Rican champion Frontier Tour. He also is the sire of Miss Vancouver, a Horse of the Year in Ecuador. Canadian Frontier’s runners have earned more than $4.6 million.
