Beginning in 2012, trainer Saeed bin Suroor will no longer have a string of Godolphin horses based in North America.

According to a story on Godolphin's web site, in recent years there have been fewer horses transferring from bin Suroor in Europe and Dubai to the United States and there is no longer a necessity for a base on the East Coast.

Simon Crisford, Godolphin's racing manager, said: “Saeed no longer has a requirement for his own barn in America but Godolphin will be just as active as before with horses based with our current trainers Kiaran McLaughlin, Tom Albertrani, and Eoin Harty.

“Saeed and Mahmood (Al Zarooni) will continue to target certain races in the USA with their European and Dubai based horses.”
