More Than Ready's Fee Increases to $60,000

More Than Ready  , sire of Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (gr. IIT) winner Regally Ready, will stand in 2012 for $60,000, up from $40,000 in 2010.

Last year, More Than Ready's daughter More Than Real won the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (gr. IIT) Nov. 5, and his son, Pluck, captured the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (gr. IIT) the following day. More Than Ready (Southern Halo—Woodman’s Girl, by Woodman) stands at Tom Simon’s Vinery near Lexington.

With nine stakes winners in 2011 and progeny earnings of $6,777,459, More Than Ready ranks sixth on the general sires list.

In other news, Congrats  , who ranked second on the second crop sires’ list by progeny earnings, will stand in 2011 for $35,000. He stood for $15,000 in 2010.

Pomeroy  , who sired six stakes winners this year, including graded victors Pomeroy’s Pistol and Flashpoint, will stand for $10,000 in 2012, which is double his 2011 fee of $5,000.

Pomeroy stands at Vinery's farm near Summerfield, Fla. Vinery also has stallions at an operation near Hudson, N.Y.
