High Cotton to Stand for $5,000

High Cotton  , Florida’s leading first-crop sire by progeny earnings with more than $500,000, will stand in 2012 for $5,000, double his 2011 fee. High Cotton (Dixie Union—Happy Tune, by A.P. Indy) stands at Michael O’Farrell’s Ocala Stud Farm near Ocala, Fla.

High Cotton has sired three stakes horses including Currency Swap, winner of the Three Chimneys Hopeful Stakes (gr. I) at Saratoga.

Following are the 2012 fees for other farm stallions: Montbrook   ($7,500), In Summation   ($4,000), Gottcha Gold   ($2,500), and Silver Tree   ($2,500).
