Multiple grade I winner Aragorn, a leading turf runner in 2006, will stand in 2012 at Tom and Debi Stull’s Tommy Town Thoroughbreds near Santa Ynez, Calif. His fee is $4,000.

Nine-year-old Aragorn (Giant's Causeway  —Onaga, by Mr. Prospector) formerly stood at William S. Farish’s Lane’s End Farm near Versailles, Ky.

An Irish-bred, Aragorn achieved his greatest triumphs in California. His five stakes wins, all graded, came in the Golden State, including the Eddie Read Handicap (gr. IT) in course-record time of 1:44.79 for 1 1/8 miles at Del Mar and the Shoemaker Breeders’ Cup Mile Stakes (gr. IT) at Hollywood Park.

Outside the state Aragorn ran second in the NetJets Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT). He  was retired with 11 top two finishes from 14 starts and earnings of $1,529,325.

Aragorn has sired four stakes horses, including 2011 multiple stakes-winning 2-year-old Paco Smart and 2010 German group-placed runner Fort Hastings.
