So You Think Pre-Entered in BC Classic

Ballydoyle, the racing arm of Coolmore, confirmed Oct. 24 that So You Think (NZ) has been pre-entered in the Nov. 5 Breeders’ Cup Classic (gr. I) at Churchill Downs.

Annemarie O’Brien, the wife of trainer Aidan O’Brien, stated via her Twitter account that the New Zealand-bred son of High Chapparal, who most recently finished second in the Oct. 15 Qipco Champion Stakes (Eng-I), was one of 12 Ballydoyle runners pre-entered in Breeders' Cup races. So You Think has eight group I victories to his credit, three of which came in 2011. He was named a champion in Australia at 3.

The stable also pre-entered Await the Dawn in the $5 million Breeders’ Cup race, with that horse also cross-entered in the Emirates Airline Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. IT).

Pre-entries for the World Championships were taken Oct. 24 and will be officially released by Breeders' Cup Oct. 26.
